Lighterature Reading: Chapter 10, the tenth chapter of a series of unique and site specific luminoacoustic performances by the collaborative duo from Zagreb and Zadar, and presented under the mutual stage name - Lightune.G. Since 2011 the duo has been presenting new chapters of the unique method of luminoacoustics - the conversion of light from light objects into tonal images by using a photovoltaic effect of solar panels. This is the origin of the name luminoacounstics – defining the technique of composition and generating of sound from various light sources (tungsten, LED, video projection, fluorescent lamps, camera flashes, etc.); combining and processing of different series of frequencies and luminous elements results in modular music sketches. For their work on developing luminoacousticsLightune.G received the third prize at the prestigious Margaret Guthman New Musical Instrument Competition held in Atlanta, USA in 2012.

LIGHTUNE.G - Bojan Gagić + Miodrag Gladović
Bojan Gagić, multimedia artist based in Zagreb, Croatia and co-founder of SineLinea, Croatian platform for experimental music and new media. His recent works are based on exploring relations between sound, light and public spaces. The core of his interests is the metaphysics of media interchanges and its influence on everyday life.

Miodrag Gladović, engineer of electroacustics, producer and musician. As a musician and producer his main work was related to bands Analena i Lunar. Recently he is also performing with his solo project Packmess GP, which merges his noise guitar heritage with new ways of expression through computer music and computer interfaces. His main interest is merging new and old technologies as a part of artistic process.
