Device art exhibition and symposium at Ars Electronica!

Ars Electronica Festival is one of the leading and prestigeous festivals of new media art dedicated to the relationship of art, technology and society. In over than 20 years of production, festival represents and gathers recent achievements in new media art scene across the world.
This year's festival edition C…what it takes to change? will present device art scene through Device art exhibition and symposium realised in collaboration of University in Tsukuba (JP), ART|SCI Center (University of California, LA) and Kontejner | bureau for contemporary art practise (Zagreb, HR). The exhibition wich will present two croatian artists – Martina Mezak and Anselmo Tumpić and two slovenian artists – Sanela Jahić and Sašo Sedlaček.
The exhibition is followed by Device art symposium where curators and artist from Japan, USA and Croatia will compare and contrast current device art scene. Alongside Hiroo Iwata (University of Tsukuba, JP), Erkki Huhtamo (University of California at LA, FI/USA) and Machiko Kusahara (University of Tokyo, JP) will speak Sunčica Ostoić, curator from Kontejener | bureau of contemporary art praxis (HR).
